Caregiving for Veterans: Surviving and Thriving

Shawn Moore Caregiving MilSpouse Transition
Milspouse Transition Conversations

Transition means heading into the golden years of life, right? Like with all things military, sometimes transition doesn’t go as planned. Sometimes you find that your veteran is facing bigger physical and mental challenges than expected and now you are navigating a new role as a caregiver.

Shawn Moore, LMSW, Director of Support Programs and the Senior Advisor on Suicide Prevention  from the Elizabeth Dole Foundation knows exactly the highs and lows that come when a military spouse shifts into the role of caregiver. We’re talking about the good, the tough, and the downright exhausting with a big reminder that showing up for your veteran doesn’t mean losing yourself in the process.

Join us for real talk, advice, resource shares, and information on the Elizabeth Dole Foundation’s services that can support your family’s journey.

Grab a cuppa and get ready to learn all about how you can survive and thrive as a military spouse caregiver.
